With a total solar eclipse coming quite soon on the horizon, Blake Loris takes a trip back home with his friends. But a nasty surprise awaits them there, and with his friends and possibly the entire human race now in jeopardy, Blake must team up with a mysterious nephalem named Akik to uncover the perpetrator, or perpetrators, behind the murder of his best friend.

On this new planet, Socks meets some new friends, a group of humans he grows fond of. It's peaceful, and, although homesickness is present, he is at peace. But nothing lasts forever. For a little piece of home resides in the shadows. A dark one that, although Socks has never formally encountered, knows all about and had been influenced by greatly. If it weren't for him, he may not even have been on Earth. And that little piece of home...
