Down South

Cleo Lopez lives on a ranch with her whole family. Her favorite horse, a Paso Fino named Cinnamon, or Canela, loves her greatly and they both have a very unique bond. But--Cleo feels invisible, shy, and unknown to even her family. Deciding to leave with Cinnamon, she tries to cross the border. Will they be caught on the border and be sent home to an angry Mama and Papa? Or... will they cross and find a perfect family like Cleo wanted?
