Kenny and Butters were always the best of friends, sticking together through thick and thin. Though Kenny was known for hanging out with his friend group most times, he secretly enjoyed hanging out with Butters more. 

Kenny and Butters never had any arguments or disagreements, often sticking up for each other. Everyone in their grade, including the teachers, knew how close they always were since kindergarten.

Kenny had helped Butters get to Hawaii when he desperately needed to, and always made sure that Butters had a shoulder to cry on. He knew Butters always had issues with his parents. Though he had his own problems, Kenny made sure to always be there for Butters.

When everything seemed to be normal, Kenny started to act slightly different than usual.
