With nothing left but a baby and a few more scars to show for her commitment, the BAU seemed like the perfect fresh start. The chance to work with the man who made her leave medicine to become an FBI agent in the first place was just too tempting.
It would've been a perfect fit if she didn't stop for coffee on her first day, then she wouldn't of met him. It's not everyday someone orders the exact same complicated drink as you, and it's not everyday he's exactly what you wanted from life. What could go wrong? Surely nothing could go wrong.
