Something We Miss
The year is 2889. Three hundred and thirteen years after fleeing a dying earth, the Universe Association has never been stronger. Eight colonized planets, an organized government, and one man at the head of it all are not expecting change. Still, change can spread like fire if sparked in the right place. Daisy Edelweiss, crown princess of Neptune, begins her first year at the Universe Association Academy. Life in a reconstructed Earthen city is as alien to her as her planet once was to Earth, and the invitations to join secret rebellion groups aren't helping. Not to mention the other royals in her class, some of whom can't get off their high horses, and some of whom have the nicest brown eyes... Artemisia McCourt, the youngest senator in training at UAA, must also adjust to life away from the blue planet. Her aptitudes for politics and writing land her a reputation among the Universe Association as either a tool or a weapon, depending on who gets to her first. Everyone's holding their breath for the Little Senator... Terra Solum, crown princess of Mars, is trying to decide whether to give up her crown to her diabolical younger brother, or keep the crown and be forever trapped in a life she doesn't want. A temporary arrangement is made, during which she is allowed to teach at UAA and keep her title while she decides which life she wants. The decision would be far easier without the former crown prince of Mercury and his perfect hair in her way... Royalty, rebellion, and romance collide in Something We Miss. Empires of Saturn, Part One
Humanity has long since spread from Earth, colonizing numerous nearby planets, moons, and even neighboring star systems. A united, peaceful expansion enjoyed by all of humankind. But those days are gone. Billions of years have passed since the first ships left Earth, stars have burned out and been replaced, the colonies lost or divided, rising anew thousands of times in history; now each one is united on its own surface, but every colony of mankind is isolated from the others. Earth has just overcome a cataclysm, Mars has undergone an uprising, the colonies across other stars are gone. Only Sol has shined forever. The focus shifts to the moons of Saturn, and those who reside there. Colonized eons ago from select groups of settlers from Earth and Mars, the six inhabited moons of Iedra, Feirro, Eympas, Alrotha, Torhindred, Titan, and Lyriptus- formerly entitled Enceladus, Mimas, Tethys, Dione, Rhea, Titan, and Iapetus- each stand alone, in a perpetual feud started long ago. Some care not at all for the others one way or another. Some are too weak to meddle in the affairs of their neighbors. Some are so strong they are feared. Others still seek domination, and will do whatever they can to get it. Sol's light shines on the fatherworld, far away. Tensions only rise. Unity or division? Is there a difference? When the clouds loose the lightning, who will know from where and why it strikes?Complete![Intergalactic Affairs [FINAL CHAPTER OUT NOW!!]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/68347114-256-k679347.jpg)
Intergalactic Affairs [FINAL CHAPTER OUT NOW!!]
In a war-torn universe, the peacemakers are seen as weak, and those who would see the galaxies ripped apart have the power to make it so and take what they would from the aftermath. Amidst a battle for the very soul of the Universal Government, there are a select few willing to stand up for what they believe in. Though they each know exactly what their choices may cost, four individuals stand against the wrongs of an unjust war. An alien girl with a mysterious past, willing to sacrifice all for those she loves; a general's son, born a healer yet forced to serve as a soldier; a kind human who will give her all to aid the quest of her friends; a gifted space-girl who risks everything to do what's right; together, a mismatched group united by the sufferings of war and the belief in peace.
