THE BEATLES.
The hottest thing since sliced bread, even in 1966. But they're not the only ones: Following them is childhood friend and fellow musician Beth, whose own charm and talent has her catapulted to fame - not to mention being endorsed by The Beatles and spoken of so fondly to the public by the boys.
They're ecstatic to be in competition, and yet it leaves a sticky trail of childhood feelings and odd navigation when the end draws near; unresolved tensions, strong promises, and a healthy dose of pining after your childhood mate(s).
After being invited to accompany, and open for, the boys on the latter half of their final tour, things start to become clouded with grim news of their future plans. Old feelings come up, and they're constantly reminded that they're still so, so young.
But one thing is for sure, a sentiment echoed from their youth loud in their minds: "We made it!"
"You do know how to eat a burger, right?"
Summer rolled her eyes, looking up at him with feigned exasperation. "Of course I do," she retorted, then lowered her voice as she leaned in, her expression shifting to one of genuine concern. "Do you think they have a fork and knife? So I can, you know... cut it?"
