When Jade Talefin meets Morocco, a supposed "genie", they set off on a quest to help Jade sing. However, they soon find out Jade's brethren/species (the Syrens) are trying to take over the ocean! With a reluctant sigh, the two main characters set off to try and stop a whole underwater kingdom.

This book is part 1 of a book series, I'm planning to have 2 books in the series.

But all goes wrong when he accidentally reveals his abilities, and his power-hungry family attempts to use Envy for their own bidding. Seeing the destruction of his family before him, once Envy escapes the claws of the NightWings, he tries to get the Gem of Tyranny before the seven tribes of Pyrrhia ultimately destroy him and each other for it. If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7.
