Riddle lives on the street, by a dumpster. Pushed by hunger and hopelessness, she commits theft and ends up in a cold cell, where her fate is uncertain. There she meets Harley - a prostitute, stuck in the cycle of poverty.

Their lives take an unexpected turn when Dr. Darkling appears. He and his wife, founders of an organization helping troubled teenagers, take Riddle and Harley under their care, providing them with luxurious life - a stark contrast to the harsh reality of their previous lives.

Upon arriving at the Darkling's house, they meet the new stepbrother Damian and stepsisters Olivia and Chloe. A spark ignites between Riddle and Damian, two rebellious souls.

However, as time goes by, questions arise about Dr. Darkling's hidden motives and the true nature of their adoption. As secrets unravel and tension mounts, Riddle and Harley must confront the darkness lurking beneath the surface.
