I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. Test Tube was bored. So incredibly bored. She had done every experiment in the book. At least, every humane experiment. She looked down at the open book. An idea that couldn't be tested as there was no way to test it without potentially facing jail time for torture. But so many other famous scientists who made huge discoveries also did inhumane things for the sake of science. If it meant recognition for your brilliance and neediness outside of the show, Test Tube wouldn't mind stepping over a couple boundaries. But which lines would she be willing to cross? Or, a better question in hindsight, how much would change? WARNING! "Reality is whatever I want." "We'll see." This story uses Marvel's idea of infinity stones, but they're more prevalent. Everyone has at least one. I have an external link at the bottom of most of the chapters that leads to a Google Doc that explains the world. Please let me know if it works. Since Wattpad has an age of consent in their guidelines, I will have the explicit scenes on AO3 and not on here. If scenes like that make you uncomfortable, this will be the version without any of that. If you're curious, I don't use any of the more graphic words, this kind of thing makes me a bit uncomfortable so I wrote it in a way that didn't make me feel weird. Either way, you read whichever version you like. The Wattpad version will allude to some of those scenes however because some are quite important. Her obvious defence tactic is that angry scowl she wears like armour, protecting herself from any harm and dissuading anyone from attempting to get too close.
