After losing her brother and killing General Shepherd, Jade MacTavish went AWOL. Everyone was looking up and down for her, but she didn't become a Lieutenant for no reason.
She was good at hiding, and she hid away from everyone. No one knew where she was, but she always knew where they were. Always keeping tabs on everyone she loves and everyone she didn't. Main ones being Ghost and Makarov.
She didn't want to leave Ghost, not after the life they created for themselves, but she had to do what was right.
For many reasons, she knew it was best to stay gone, but she would one day get her revenge on Makarov.
Even if it killed her.
