That changed when her teacher, Jacq, invited her on a school trip to Kitakami-a land of rich traditions, mysterious Pokémon, and unexpected encounters. There, she met Kieran, a quiet yet determined boy drawn to her strength, and his protective sister, Carmine. What started as a simple trip soon turned into something more-a journey of rivalry, growing bonds, and emotions she never expected. This journey would then lead her to an exchange program at Blueberry Academy, where even greater adventures awaited. She found herself facing new rivals, growing stronger with each challenge, and watching her newly found friend become clouded by determination and rage. As their rivalry deepened, so did their feelings, with each challenge uncovering a vulnerability in Kieran and a growing connection between them that neither could ignore. • • • This story is based on the events linked to those that have happened in both Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, though it being more closely linked with Violet (As that was the game I favoured). There will be some alterations to better suit the story, but will follow the main storyline of the "Teal Mask" and "Indigo Disc" DLC's. I've published this as I've been wanting to create my own story between my character and Kieran for a while, so I thought I may as well publish it for others to enjoy as well. This story also has a very slow plot, their relationship progresses VERY slowly throughout, so if you aren't into slow burns I don't recommend this story. Trainer school has always been a drag, and many people do try their best to get past the boring classes and lectures as much as they can, much so like the most popular boy in school, Nate. known to be loud, cheerful, outgoing, and the wittiest. He's friends with almost everyone in the school, but hold his own secrets no one would expect a bright guy would fake. As these two students go along their day, they don't bother looking at each other when walking past each other in the halls. This makes Rosa the only person he doesn't talk to, due to a complication in their childhood he regrets, thought never mentions it, but Rosa was easy to forgive and forget, yet still prefers to keep herself away from getting hurt again. When learning that Nate never talked to Rosa before, his friends go far and beyond to help their friendship bloom again. But things aren't taken lightly and everyone soon discovered that there was trauma in their past. Trying to get past the complicated insecurities the couple holds, it'll take a lot of work for the students from multiple regions to get through.
