There is a theory that within our lifetime, we will fall in love three times at different stages of our lives. Each experience feels entirely unique and teaches us something different that shapes our personality and who we will become.
The First Love is a love that feels like a fairy tale and sometimes like true love. It is a love that often ends due to growing apart, breaking us immensely, and sometimes leading to feelings of hatred.
Intense Love, is a love that turns your world upside down; it usually reflects your inner self. This love feels like a rollercoaster, leaving us feeling guarded, distrusting, and hurt.
Lastly, there is Unconditional Love, the unexpected love that comes after healing and cultivating self-love. It emerges out of nowhere and feels completely and utterly right. There are no games, and when you are with them, you simply feel safe and at home. You embrace all that they are, including their imperfections and nuances.
This unconditional and unexpected love marks the beginning of what we call FOREVER.
