Paris is a black American girl with a high social life but then she leaves Ohio for Toronto Canada when unknown to her, her mum is diagnosed with cancer. Paris is forced to move in with her aunt Maria and snobbish unpopular daughter, Emelia and the cute step son, Clinton .
Paris soon becomes bestie with Pamela, the cheer captain and steals the heart of Marcelo, Pamela's half-Brazilian boyfriend. Paris soon falls for him too, and though it costs Paris Pamela's friendship, she starts dating Marcelo. But then comes A shocking return. Damien!!!
Damien was Paris nemesis and only bully back in middle school and he was back in her life in Thriving High only that he looked cuter. Though he was still an ass, the two beacame friends and fell for each other and began to date but since Damien was still new, he did not know about her and Marcelo and so Paris was dating two boys.
Of course word always comes out and thanks to the evil Pamela, Paris is humiliated and loses both boys. A day after, the news of her mother's death comes around and she is shocked her mum had cancer. She laments about not being nice to her mum before she passed away and for the first time in her life, Paris wishes she could die. But Clinton and suprisingly, Emelia help her return to her normal self and the social media influencer, Paris is going back to school with one question in mind...
