31. Apathy - Anathema - Affection
The last one. It's been a strange journey getting here, and honestly I had doubts that I would, but here we are. I'm glad I stuck through it. This short story is a bit of an odd one to end on but the old dichotomy of love and hate has always been an interesting topic. Especially as the two aren't quite as opposed as people think.
The prompt for today was chosen because I like talking quotes from my favourite media when I do these challenges. I didn't really have an idea in place for it. But exploring the strange feeling of attachment to a person you can't quite hate but also don't feel like you love is something that strikes me pretty close to home. It was a pleasure to put the feeling onto a page, and it has been a pleasure to share all my ideas with the world for the last month.

I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains.
