Rangyon the shaman receives summons to the Eastern Quarter's Place of Coin--a cleansing is needed, and a demon must be exorcized from its haunt. A Neverman has been chained; a creature of pure malevolence, a manifestation of the ethereal lies awaiting judgment.

Rangyon will learn of demons, but not on his own terms.
