Louisa Parker is a young, promising engineer at the Vault-Tec Corporation, a company that organized and built practically the entire civil defense system in the USA, including the protective bunkers, so-called vaults. When she learns about ominous scheming within the corporation, she tries to take action against it; But it is too late.
The bombs fall and Louisa wakes up after 200 years from a cold sleep into a world that is foreign to her. Tormented by feelings of guilt, she tries to find the man who unwillingly brought her to the Vault and in the process encounters an organization called the Brotherhood of Steel...
