Utopia

"Utopia" is a story about Zoe, a high school junior who just moved to Orange Beach, Alabama. She makes friends quickly as well as meets a cool guy - who rides a motorcycle. Everything seems perfect. More perfect than it should be. Zoe enjoys it for a couple months until the summer, when she realizes that things are only ever this uneventful and ideal before something really bad. Like the quiet before a tornado.

Zoe's mom has a history of crime and lying, but she always covers everything up. Even though they just came into a fortune that fixes most of their financial problems, everything almost feels too good to be real...
