As the king ages, his rules and expectations become overwhelming. Xanthe, his 17-year-old son and god of strength, struggles to meet his father's high demands and ends up battling to continue protecting his people from the king's cruel actions. The king's anger becomes increasingly difficult to manage. Eventually, women in the kingdom decide to put an end to the monarchy. They take action by assassinating the king. Amidst the chaos of war, Xanthe finds support from Frannie. As they stand side by side amidst the chaos of battle, their bond deepens, fueled by shared purpose and an unspoken understanding.
