A fluffy Romance with a hint of spice. Follow Carson as he falls in love with the angel of his dreams.

Angels have always hated Demons. Whether they are the vile Delter demons that rage war on all other races, or the Alter demons who hide away in their own lands, ignoring the Delter's atrocities. The Angels distrusted them all. And so, with divine beauty and strength, they fend off Delter from moving into the northern lands as if it were their sole duty.

As Delter grows desperate to finally push through the Divine Lands, they start to eye Alter, the only other kingdom between them and the North. Foreseen by the Divine King, he hopes to create an alliance with Alter, despite the general population's distrust of the Demon kingdom...Even if Alter is peaceful by nature.

The disgust in Delter's never-ending conquest for power and slaves pushes Alter into a corner. Despite the looming fate of war within their lands, the Alter King persists in remaining neutral and only cordial with the other kingdoms. That is until Princess Eae, the niece of the Divine King and Hero of her people, gets injured near the Alter and Divine border. Prince Carson is nearby to save her and after the girl he remembered from his childhood nearly died in his arms, his interest in her is rekindled.

Now in Alter, Princes Eae approaches the Alter throne with a deal. Backed by her king, and in exchange for a unified front line, she offers her hand in marriage to one of the Alter King's brothers. Faced with the idea of marrying the Angel Princess he had once met as a child, Carson jumps at the chance. But it isn't easy to quell the unease of an interracial marriage. Let alone one between two of the most hostile races to each other. But is Eae more than just a beautifully divine woman? Or is she just willing to marry a Demon in order to put a stop to Delter once and for all?

Dwendardian's forces are bombarding the castle, demanding Niamh's head for their leader. The harder she trains, the less adequate she feels, not in the least when her growing power only seems to be present when Eamon's annoying her. But, there is more than looming threats to the safety of all realms; the king's sons are caught in their own games and aren't averse to getting someone killed. While Eamon reminds himself his feelings for Niamh go no further than a simple fey obsession, he is still involved in the tug of war for power among the king's children. Fey obsession is a dangerous thing... So, oaths are formed and relationships tested as Niamh and Eamon are forced to hide away with the hope the fey can draw the fomorians away from Elfhaven. There, their own relationship is tested as Niamh gives in to her attraction to him. ...and, Eamon's will not be the only oath broken. But, once the threat is passed and they are back among others, Eamon is cold, distant, and his oath is near broken. He asked and I looked up at his eyes. I didn't have to ponder over the matter long. "I don't know." I said softly. Daimen frowned and studied me for a while, "Just wondering, because you seem to love pissing me off. And most people don't. So I guess you need some figuring out to do." ********* Daimen and River were both seniors at the same high school, they took some of the same classes, walked the same halls, live in fair distance from each other, but they couldn't have been more different. When high school was over River and Daimen became ghosts to each other but then years later fate decides to bring them back together. River Sparrow hates confrontation. She's jumpy, but tries to see the bright side of situations. She's quiet, soft spoken, the "teacher's pet," and keeps to herself a lot. ❅| "Even a vastness can no longer shelter you... or engulf your dream." ⊱⋅ ──────────── ⋅⊰ [UNDER EDITING/REDRAFTING - latest chapter: 8] To a world seemingly shrouded in a cloak of safety and eternal peace, death is an unimaginable concept. Yet for those whose rule of life was mere survival, perhaps that's a different situation. For those who stood in the face of adversity, for those who refused to give in to the castigation of their lives, life has no sweetness to it. Merely the bitter tang of a blood-chilling revenge. To avenge a loved one or perhaps even their own pain, the murderous intent behind their deceitful eyes is unmistakable. For to them, lamenting about the past is a life lost to the cruel hands of fate. What happens when a woman as brilliant as the morning sun provides a haven in one's dreams? What happens when she, despite the agonies life carried, says to abandon everything right here and now and leave? Alcestis did not need to be told twice. Seizing the chance to escape the horrible clutches of her grandparents, she sets out on a journey to find the Elementals - a band of heroes protecting the human realm from those that lied beyond, headed by her parents. She knew of the darkness that festered within her; she knew of the hatred that danced in her heart. More than anything, she knew the extents of how fragmented her soul was. What, perhaps, would unfold when she sets out on her journey, leaving behind the world she knew; leaving behind what hopefulness remained in her battered heart? None would heed her an answer, indeed. None save for the rage that tainted her being.

"Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. "It was the first thought she ever shared with me." Skylar pursed her lips. "She likes you very much." "What about you?" he teased gently. "How do you feel about me?" She set her jaw and once again managed to look down her nose at him while staring up at him. "Well... well, I'm rather fond of you, Orion." He let out a relieved laugh and pulled her into his chest again. "What a relief. I was worried it was just me." He nuzzled her temple, inhaling deeply, his dragon fully at peace. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. As a princess and heir to the kingdom, her future was daunting enough. The fact that she turned into dragon and would be killed if anyone found out made it all the worse. So, Skylar lived in constant conflict with the beast within her, all while training to be queen one day. When a fellow king discovers her secret, she is forced to flee or put her entire family in danger. When she meets Orion, the Alpha of a dragon clan, he helps open up a whole new world to her. In this new world, Skylar discovers who she is supposed to be and what she's been hiding from. She finds the beauty of her beast and a love she only ever dreamed of. But then her new world is threatened. It becomes a matter of kill or be killed, so Skylar's new family, with the help of her old, must rise to the challenge to defeat this threat. Or risk the extinction of her kind.

------------- "Why're you staring at me?" I ask teasingly. I hear him letting out a breath, of embarrassment or guilt I don't know. "I may have unintentionally hurt you, on several occasions. I may have done the wrong thing more than once. But despite all of that I still like you, hell if I know I might love you. I've never felt the way I feel about you for anyone else before. I can't stop thinking about you. Your laugh, your smile, your voice. How you manage to pull a joke at a time like this, to how peaceful, and beautiful you look when you're sleeping." I smile.
