Rebekah Wynters is an average young woman, living under the Monarchs rule in the small kingdom of London. Most of her time is spent helping her father with his job, as the local florist, which involves collecting the wild flowers for him to use.
Beka enjoys her life at it is, how it's meant to be. She's normal, but she's okay with that.
That changes when King Simon's five son's set their sights on this particular girl.
The young girl's life suddenly takes a direction that she never expected to form. Mistakes are made, and the girl is left an orphan. The guilty King Simon takes Beka under his wing gracefully and brings her into the family dwelling.
