Supposedly, the world is at the state that the world beyond the wall is just a wasteland from Ghidorah and his subordinate's wrath... but Katie suspects otherwise, that the world outside is not a wasteland. Lucas on the other hand doesn't believe Katie and he wants to keep him and his dad safe as he's the only family he has left. His dad is a very good man, he works as much as he can and makes as much money as possible to keep a roof over their heads. He often tells Lucas about a time when humans and titans lived together and harmonized thousands of years ago... and their ancestors were one of the rare and lucky humans to have a bond with these magnificent gods.
