Wizarding World: Harry Potter
Harry Potter fanfiction novel. In The Serpent's Daughter, we follow the secret daughter of Lord Voldemort and Lily Potter, who was raised under the protection of Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape. From a young age, Lily exhibited powerful and dangerous magic, accidentally killing a maid at her orphanage. Dumbledore and Snape took her in, raising her within the walls of Hogwarts while trying to protect her from both her father's dark influence and the wizarding world's prejudice. As she grows, Lily forms friendships with older students like Percy, Bill, and Charlie Weasley, and later Draco Malfoy, all while secretly protecting her half-brother Harry Potter, who remains unaware of her existence. By the time she starts Hogwarts, Lily develops a close relationship with Draco, who remains unaware of her dark heritage. However, their budding romance is tested when mysterious events unfold during their second year, including the reopening of the Chamber of Secrets. Draco, fearing Lily may be involved, breaks up with her. Heartbroken, Lily tries to move on with a rebound relationship with Cedric Diggory, but overhears him talking about her as if she were someone he could "fix." This betrayal leads her to break up with Cedric and find solace in a secret training room in Hogwarts, where she vents her frustration at constantly being misunderstood. Throughout the story, Lily struggles with her dual identity-caught between the light and dark legacies of her parents-while forming complicated relationships with the people around her. She is torn between her desire to live a normal life and the shadow of her father, Voldemort, whom she unknowingly helps by connecting him with Quirinus Quirrell. As she navigates the challenges of Hogwarts, including Draco's rejection and her protective instincts over Harry, Lily is determined to forge her own path, free from the control and expectations of others.

[BOOK 2] ____________________ "Whatsss that you've got there?" "Who's there?" "Up here, human." "Y-you're a snake!" "A grasss snake. Well obssserved. And you, are a human." _______________________ During the summer away from Hogwarts, Aludra makes an exciting discovery; she can talk to and understand snakes. While her parents make speculations and theories as to how this is possible, they fail to notice that Aludra is going through the physical, emotional and mental changes necessary in becoming a teenage girl. At school, she suddenly finds herself in a whirlpool of confusion, embarrassment and shame like she's never felt before. All of her deepest, darkest secrets and fears are rising to surface, and just as Aludra feels like she's going to have a break down, she remembers the black, leather diary she saw her father slip into Ginny Weasley's cauldron in August. She decides to confide in it, and soon discovers that it is inhabited by the memory of a boy named Tom Riddle. Tom is kind and patient. He listens to all her problems and offers helpful advice. He tells her that she's smart, funny and beautiful - in that exact order, too. Soon, Aludra begins to depend on Tom like a drug. Little does she know, Tom has already been using her as a life source.
