Harry Potter fanfiction novel.
In The Serpent's Daughter, we follow the secret daughter of Lord Voldemort and Lily Potter, who was raised under the protection of Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape. From a young age, Lily exhibited powerful and dangerous magic, accidentally killing a maid at her orphanage. Dumbledore and Snape took her in, raising her within the walls of Hogwarts while trying to protect her from both her father's dark influence and the wizarding world's prejudice. As she grows, Lily forms friendships with older students like Percy, Bill, and Charlie Weasley, and later Draco Malfoy, all while secretly protecting her half-brother Harry Potter, who remains unaware of her existence.

By the time she starts Hogwarts, Lily develops a close relationship with Draco, who remains unaware of her dark heritage. However, their budding romance is tested when mysterious events unfold during their second year, including the reopening of the Chamber of Secrets. Draco, fearing Lily may be involved, breaks up with her. Heartbroken, Lily tries to move on with a rebound relationship with Cedric Diggory, but overhears him talking about her as if she were someone he could "fix." This betrayal leads her to break up with Cedric and find solace in a secret training room in Hogwarts, where she vents her frustration at constantly being misunderstood.

Throughout the story, Lily struggles with her dual identity-caught between the light and dark legacies of her parents-while forming complicated relationships with the people around her. She is torn between her desire to live a normal life and the shadow of her father, Voldemort, whom she unknowingly helps by connecting him with Quirinus Quirrell. As she navigates the challenges of Hogwarts, including Draco's rejection and her protective instincts over Harry, Lily is determined to forge her own path, free from the control and expectations of others.

100 parts Complete

❛And do you know what's the stupidest thing about this?❜ said Draco and made an aggressive step towards me. ❛That after all this,❜ he grasped my forearm violently and made me backstep in fear. ❛After all this trouble,❜ he said and pushed me against the wall despite my tries to get away. ❛After all these fights,❜ he closed up and stuck his body on mine, putting his hand on my neck almost painfully. ❛I still want you so badly, it hurts,❜ he said and looked at me with both anger and lust and passion. ❛God, I want you so much and I want to kill you at the same time. You stupid, little girl, I fucking love you.❜ Despite being Voldemort's daughter, Dumbledore's goddaughter and destined to lead, Annalise Riddle was born in a world ordinary and plain. Thrown into a life full of magic and wonders, she stumbles upon her fate. This is not just a love story. This is a story of self-sacrifice and being brave enough to seek your destiny. ❛The Lost Daughter is now born. Lady she is meant to be and Lady she will be, and a Dark Lord's daughter. Beware, for only she knows the key to his collapse. Long may she reign and retribution shall be ours.❜ *Highest Rank: #2 in fanfiction and #1 in draco* If you like this story, I am sure you would also like its prequel.
