Since Mesogog was created and woke to the reality that no one was the same as him, loneliness became a burden. Nothing was similar to him in any way, shape, or form, and that harsh reality drove him to an evil path. To bring back the dinosaurs so that he wasn't so alone anymore. Loneliness can break a person and fragment their emotions, it can be fuel for anger, depression, and more.
Dr. Amelia understands that part very well, but she never gave up on trying to look at the positive side of things. Despite her insanity, her secrets, and the enemies she's made who hunt her down, a close connection with a sinister evil will bring them together like two magnets. Very slowly, that Evil, will see that he's not alone.
