After her bout with Team Galactic, Cynthia thought she had seen it all: The Rulers of Time and Space in the flesh, the scourge of Sinnoh breaking out of its confines in the Distortion World, and the very world almost resetting before her eyes.

It's hard to top something like that, huh?

That's what she thought, too, but when she discovered a new lower level in the Solaceon Ruins, she never would have guessed that murals depicting Unovan pokémon would be there. Without much direction on where to go from there, she calls the one person she thinks could help: Alder.

The only issue? He didn't come alone.

Tagging alongside him was his Assistant Teacher, Reno, a young man whose impatience and disinterest with why his superior was called in the first place leads to the discovery of a device that sends them far into the past.

But what influence will their presence in Hisui cause? What is the REAL reason why they were brought there?
And most importantly: Will they be able to get home?
