He looks nothing like his African mother, but is the spitting image of his controversial father. Our Anti-hero and sorcerer, the mystic Rasputin's only son and foretold successor, Vladimir, who grew up in a Monastery, battles his inner demons with ambivalence about the world of holiness, seclusion and purity, as opposed to desire, power, love, and revenge. Based in a fictional world of magic, wizards and sorcery, and heavily inspired by the assassination of Grigori Rasputin in Russia. In this tale, European mysticism meets African Obeah, also known as African black magic. Follow along as Rasputin's mixed race children avenge his death in a battle not of good and evil, but of desire, chaos and confusion. Will Vladimir escape the monastery, his holy prison? Will he want to? Will he work together with his Obeah practicing black mother and sisters or turn against them? Will he find true love? Read to learn more! *Disclaimer* This story is NOT an accurate description of History or Russia, instead its based in a fictional world that is heavily inspired by Russia, and the life of Grigori Rasputin, but does not reflect the actual events of his life or death. The places, events and time period of these events are also not in line with actual history and some places mentioned do not exist. This story is not intended to address Soviet Russia or any political concerns related to the region. It's very superficial in its relation to the culture and language. I wanted to have as much creative liberty as possible and create my OWN take on historical events through the realm of fantasy. Also, I am not from Russia, and my knowledge on their culture and language is superficial at best so you should really go to a more reputable source if you want to learn more about the interesting history of the people. To learn more about this fascinating historical figure, please do your research! Reality is sometimes even more intriguing than fiction.

The fostering system, as we all know, is flawed. In several areas, drastic improvements need to take place, but nobody has done anything about them. One young black boy brought to America from Africa through the fostering system is subjected to said system, where incompetent doctors fail to realize what's wrong with him until it's too late. He lives the first sixteen years of his life completely free from knowing what the system had forsaken him years ago. He lived happily, although he and his mom struggled to pay the bills after his dad dies an untimely death, but he had his boyfriend, his rock Kristian to pull him through the worst of it. This was The Bliss. But then he learns just what the system has betrayed him of, and his life takes a drastic turn. This was The Know. After he finds out, everything in his life goes downhill from there. This is The Agony. Disclaimer: If you are in any way sensitive to harsh racial language and slurs, homophobic language and slurs, or suicidal thoughts and actions read with extreme caution.
