Two weeks after the final battle against Sephiroth, Cloud's past has come back. Visions of his parents haunt him in his dreams and since he is severely injured, his dreams occur regularly. With Tifa taking care of him, trying to help gets harder as she doesn't know what to do.

But when a man comes into their life, his appearance stirs Cloud in all the wrong ways. He feels like the man is familiar but he cannot be trusted. Though everyone is fond of the man, could he have been part of Cloud's traumatic experience?
