They made us wear masks, made us social distance. No matter what, though, no one could've accounted for this. This was no COVID. This was no Spanish influenza or smallpox. Even the Black Death was child's play in comparison. This... this was Hell. There was no God in this. Had he been there before, he abandoned mankind. Maybe he wanted us to save ourselves. Perhaps he wanted us gone."
