Harry Styles is excited to go to University of Reading, being able to live away from home and be independent. Studying English Literature, things won't be easy, especially when his roommate, Louis Tomlinson, seems to have better ideas on how to spend his free time other than studying. Harry doesn't mind people loving people of the same sex but when it comes down to Louis bringing home more men than he can count, he seems repulsed by the idea. Louis believes Harry is homophobic but there's something deeper to the story than that that Harry isn't sure if he wants to explore it. When they finally come to terms with their feelings, the past begins to haunt the pair, and new challenges bring more difficult obstacles. Will it end in disaster? Or will they be there for each other until the end?

Ten years have passed since Harry and Louis lost sight of each other. As teenagers, they wrote letters to their future selves via 'FutureMe' - filled with dreams and secret hopes. But life led them down different paths - Louis is about to get married to his girlfriend, while Harry has never been able to forget his deep feelings for Louis over the years. When their paths cross again, the two are confronted with their past and their unspoken feelings. While Louis rediscovers his own identity and sexuality, Harry lovingly stands by his side. Together they have to find out if what they once shared as childs & teenagers could be the key to their future together.

PART ONE OF THE TRAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL SERIES for most of his life louis didn't know what it was like to be wanted. at the young age of twelve years old he lost everything that mattered to a young boy: his friends. everyone important to him disappeared all because of an event that louis didn't dare to ever speak about, all he did was get shut down anyway. he was in his last year of high school and louis was still dragging himself through the days until he bumped into his new curly headed neighbour in a quite embarrassing accident that soon led to a unexplainably comfortable situation. he soon learned his name to be harry and from then on harry would bother louis until they became friends. or louis suffers from PTSD and harry just wants to help him love himself ANY AND ALL UPDATES TO THIS BOOK WOULD JUST BE FURTHER EDITING

After accidently meeting, becoming roommates with someone who is soon to be your best friend but also someone you are crushing on, while that someone is seeing someone else hurts! Starting the cycle of jealousy, avoidance, pulling away from your best friend, and miscommunication. If only they realised it was mutual and they had discussed it. Or a friends to lovers AU where Harry and Louis end up as roommates pining for each other. Harry thinks Louis has a boyfriend and Louis thinks Harry isn't interested.
