Dr. Eggman has been radio silent for nearly four months, leaving Sonic on edge. It doesn't help that the press has had nothing to report on, so they've resorted to gossiping about his love life.
This eventually starts to affect the other relationships in his life, and an idea is proposed.

After a series of intense battles, Amy begins to quietly suffer the effects of burnout, stress, and overexertion mentally and physically. Her usual spark starts to dim as she secretly pushes herself too hard, eating less, sleeping less, and distancing herself from her friends. Though she insists she's fine, her declining health becomes impossible to hide. The team begins to worry especially Sonic, who notices every crack she tries to cover. When Sonic and Shadow decide to go Sonadow on everyone, Eggman becomes jealous of the attention Sonic no longer has for battling Badnicks and mechs. With hopes to divert Sonic's interest away from having a boyfriend, Eggman hatches an impressively evil plan to get rid of Shadow. Ⓣ I did the drawing with intentions to make a ridiculous yet disappearing cover. I felt kind of bad making Sonic look so sad but not bad in a bad way. Hope that made sense.
