A fanfiction inspired by a true experience the writer had in the Helldivers 2 game.

With the war against the Terminids going smoothly, Super Earth and its residents enjoy a carefree life. This peace does not last long as a new enemy, the Automatons, began a large-scale assault on three different sectors and soon grow at an exponential rate. The call for more helldivers out, and millions more join the cause.
Among those millions is Theodore Waltz, a young boy in his mid teens who ultimately decides to commit to the war for the sake of his family. After passing his training and completing tours in a few planets, he grows from a self-conscious boy to a seasoned helldiver not to be trifled with. However, his skills have yet to be put to the test as he embarks on a mission that would soon result in catastrophe: the operation to take over Malevelon Creek.

It is here that Theodore will learn what it truly means to be a helldiver.All Rights Reserved

While Doctor Nihilistical is running around, Bleddyn is trying to get through graduate school and is barely able to function with the amount of sleep he is getting each night. Both are trying to figure out what they need to do in order to survive, and it's getting to the point where they can't get out of each others' heads long enough to realize what is actually important in life.
