The Lifehold was safe and secure in NLA. The Ganglion hierarchy was crippled, leaving the former regime in shambles. And for once in their time since they crashed on Mira, humanity finally feels at peace. But the work was not yet over. Not for BLADE. And certainly not for Cross.
Called into Blade Tower by Nagi personally, Cross is officially ranking up and becoming the leader of his own team, one of Blades first ever multi-division units. Now the leader of the currently empty Team Cross, he has a team to form, and he has no clue where to even start.

I wanted to write this because of the recent WiiU online server shutdown. There are lots of games that got hit hard by this, and one of them is one of my all time favourite games, Xenoblade Chronicles X. The only Xenoblade game with online functionality.
I remember being a little 9 or 10 year old kid running home after school as fast as I can so I can plop down and play on my Wii U, and 9 times out of ten, it was for Xenoblade X. I had no clue what I was doing, but the game instantly hooked me when I saw the giant robot on the front cover. I had so much fun with the game back in 2015-2019, when my Wii U broke, and I still remember how upset I was when it wouldn't turn on no matter how much I tried.
Eventually, just a few months ago, I got Cemu working in my computer, and the first thing I did was get Xenoblade X on there, and when I started the game again, it was like I was a little 9 year old kid again.
The game is so special to me, and I was so saddened when I learned the servers shut down. So, I want to make a little something for the game. Just to show how much I love the game and its characters, and how much I want to see it one day continue on a new console.
So, to any other Xenoblade X fans out there, I hope you enjoy this, and if you don't know anything about the game, I truly recommend looking into it, it's such an awesome experience for any JRPG enjoyer.

He's always been in his own world, especially after gaining a bunch of followers on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media. He lands himself in community service, which wasn't a surprise for some of the people that know him, but it also was. He ends up trying to get with someone, just to get his mind off of things, but he realizes Rhiya isn't going to be that easy to get. AU of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, where Pyra makes Rex into a Blade Eater, and Nia is the one to revive him. With the power of a continent-shattering Blade, Rex plans to fulfill his dream of reaching Elysuim. Xenoblade Chronicles... god I love this game trilogy(plus 1). The possibility for some filthy casual writer like myself to make AU's out of the incredible and diverse world Xenoblade offers us. Man, I'm already getting excited! Alright. Let's cover a few more things. -Running through the entire games plot will be really tedious. But I love this game and it's plot, so I'll follow through with it. Expect a longer book. -Pyra and Mythra will still exist, but rather then being Rex's Blade, they'll show up in dreams or something, and guide Rex along and teach him how to be a Blade Eater. Basically, thy reside inside the memory of Elysium that Rex has now, and exist inside the Core Crystal. Does that make sense? -Rex x Nia. Since Pyra/Mythra aren't alive in this, that leaves only one. I'm working on my pacing with romance, so I'll try and make it slowly build up to the point, rather then jump right into it. -No changes to the personalities. At least Im not trying to change them. -Vandham. HE LIVES. Or, I wish he did. Unfortunately, his death is just too important to the plot and Rex's character that it feels weird to cut it out. -I want to include Addam in another way. And I have a plan of how to do it, that will also satisfy one of the biggest complaints about the game. -I'd like to try and gradually work Jin over to the other side. I think it could be interesting, but that might change. -I'll try to prevent this from just being a rewrite with no Pyra/Mythra.
