Anyone who even looks at Renfield believes that he is mad. Yet Mina doesn't seem to think so, not when he is the only one who can help her escape.
A/N: A short story spun off from the adapted play version of Dracula by David Calcutt from the novel by Bram Stoker. All bold sentences/lines are directly from the play script. Chapter 3 contains some violence.

In the meantime, Jesse makes Rebecca her friend, and Rebecca notifies her about the Lobo Clan's activities in New Orleans, where Jesse meets someone. And for them, everything becomes worse. This is easier said than done, though, as nobody escapes darkness and survives to tell the story. Nothing can stop the long-suffering servant from wanting more from life above all else. Nobody aspires to be a villain, after all. However, evil is crafty, unstoppable, and eternal.Complete
