In the meantime, Jesse makes Rebecca her friend, and Rebecca notifies her about the Lobo Clan's activities in New Orleans, where Jesse meets someone. And for them, everything becomes worse. This is easier said than done, though, as nobody escapes darkness and survives to tell the story. Nothing can stop the long-suffering servant from wanting more from life above all else.
