In a version of Earth where the paranormal exists, Kevin "Angelus" Collins, AKA Angel, is a former Special Ops soldier, turned tracker and hunter on a mission to rescue two kidnapped girls. During the course of his pursuit, he stumbles upon a badly injured young woman, tangled in fallen branches and brush. Believing her to be one of the victims who had escaped, he takes her back to his van and attends to her wounds. As he works, he asks questions she can't answer, except for her name; Charlotte. Realizing he has amnesia, he explains how he found her in hopes it may help her remember something. As she listens to his story about the endangered children, rage fuels her soul, and she transforms into a demonic being: horns, claws, sharp teeth and glowing red eyes pours from her, startling both of them. Angel tries to escape the van, but she stops him, begging him not to abandon her, that she won't hurt him. Giving her his trust, Angel promises not to leave her, and she tells him she wants to help him rescue the children, by using the power within her. What follows is the story of their adventures to save the lost, innocent and endangered souls.
