"And you heard about me, i got some big enemies."

Astrid Dixon was a very nice which caused people to look at her funny when she stood next to her dad Daryl Dixon. Where he was grumpy and always had a harsh glare on his face, Astrid was always laughing and smiling at something.

The two were together, along with Merle Dixon, when the world decided to end. They ended up finding a nice group in Atlanta where Astrid made a new friend called Carl Grimes.

The group found it funny that over time the younger Grimes and Dixon kids were become close while their dads were also getting close.

Carl and Astrid became inseparable, went everywhere together. If you saw one you'd probably see the other only a few moments later.

So what happens when Astrid Dixon goes missing for nearly a year?

Zeppelin Barnes had always been the person who looked very unwelcoming until you got to know them. Having a rough childhood and being an over protective older sister does that to you.

When the world went to crap Zeppelin took her little sister and did everything she could to keep her safe. Thankfully being an FBI agent helped in many ways.

They had their ups and downs, ran into some bad people, lost hope sometimes until Aaron found them and showed them Alexandria.

There they had a home, a safe place to live, food to eat. It was all good, they were happy and that happiness grew when a new group came in.

What happens when the redhead and the hunter start to get along and get closer?

Welcome to season 2! This is a fanfiction of the Walking Dead show ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SNEAK PEEK! "I don't need no nurse to look after me," he snapped at me, angry, and I frowned at him. He turned away from me after looking down "Quit being a baby...it will only take a second Daryl," I told him, moving to stand where I knew he could see me. "What happened?....why are you avoiding me?'' I asked, seeing him turn to look away. "Daryl?" "You were right to want to kill em" Daryl finally spoke up with a whisper. I frowned and felt my breathing quicken with the idea. "He said somethin about... the men messing with some young girls. " He spoke, but I could hear the anger in his voice. "Beat the shit out of em just because of that..." He said and turned away from me. I thought that was it until he just kicked something of his over making a loud bang "son of a bitch" he snapped and sat down and held his head low. I walked over to him and stopped just a foot from him "what he said reminded me of....you..." he said and shook his head "Because of what happened to you...I remember how skiddish you were back then...if I had known what he was doin I would have beat the shit out of him too....I don't want that happening again..." he said and finally looked up to me. I didn't know what else to say. I just looked at him now knowing he cared about me more than he showed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTERS FROM THE WALKING DEAD, OR STORYTELLING AND ALL CREDIT GOES TO ORIGINAL WRITERS AND SHOW. Daryl always put on a mask, an impenetrable facade that made him appear indifferent, as if he didn't care about anything or anyone except for himself. He pushed people away, deliberately keeping them at arm's length, but I knew better. I had seen glimpses of something more beneath that hardened exterior-something real, something human. It wasn't obvious, and it wasn't easy to see, but it was there. I didn't know the full extent of his story, of the pain and the ghosts he carried with him, but I could tell that behind his rough edges, there was a man who cared. The more I watched him, the more I saw that contradiction in him-this mix of isolation and vulnerability. I didn't know him the way I wanted to, but at the same time, there was a strange, inexplicable feeling that I did. It was as if there was something familiar in him, something I recognized, even though we'd never truly shared our pasts. His eyes, especially, told a story all their own-a silent narrative of hurt, survival, and loss. There was a depth there, something raw and honest, as though his life before all of this had shaped him into someone who had learned not to trust, not to hope. I found myself wondering what kind of life he had before the world fell apart-what his family had been like, what his childhood had been shaped by. I could imagine the kind of father he had-a man whose influence left deep scars, someone who might have made Daryl believe that showing emotion or affection was a weakness. It wasn't hard to guess that the lessons Daryl had learned were ones forged in silence and pain, things that had made him pull away from others and close off the softer parts of himself. Daryl remembers a conversation at that point, wondering what the youngest Greene would say if she saw them now. The groups morale has been at an all time low since loosin' her. So he looks over at the sign like it's some sick joke. Just a reminder of the game they played that night she had her first drink. "I ain't never left the state of Georgia, never took my daughter on some vacation." He glares at the sign in utter disgust, before letting out a shallow laugh. The blond girl would probably always stick with him. Welcome To Virginia Then he looks over at his daughter, whose looking half dead already and then calls back to Glenn. "Glenn!" He hollers. "You still got that camera?" So, like it's some sick joke he forces Aurora to take a picture with him in front of the sign. Both of them doing something they never would've been able to do before the turn. Rory's confused as hell, she's tired and hungry, but when she looks at the sad smile on her dads face as he looks down at the polaroid, she forgets about it all.
