One day, I was normal. 
The next I was anything but. 

On his thirteenth birthday, Tor Larson awakens to find himself and his bedroom covered in snow. So begins his journey as a Nix mage. Cursed with elemental abilities he cannot control, his only hope is to travel across the country to the Academy where teens with elemental abilities can be trained how to use them. The thing about Tor is that he's the only Nix elemental at his new school. 

The six official elements-Ignis, Terra, Nox, Lux, Aria and Aqua-each have their own unique cultures and histories to help support them. Tor has to figure everything out for himself and when he can't, he quickly makes enemies of the entire school. All he wants is to go home but he has to survive the school year first.
