Well, it can go in immensely deep. To the point were...A person. One you've grown to know right from childhood. For practically ALL YOUR LIFE. Probably as well as the back of your hand. To seem...entirely different! From what they used to be. Or rather, who you thought they truly were.
Then again! I believe it only goes to show us the full spectrum of human behavior.
It reveals something quietly laiden within ourselves.
Our TRUE selves.

They forget that CHANGES can be for good, AND for bad. It can bring the beautiful AND the ugly. It can pave a path of light OR darkness.
Just because a chrysalis is breaking open, that doesn't mean a magical butterfly is gonna come fluttering out!

It's funny how wrong you can be about a person. You may think that you love someone for who they are, but they turn out to be the exact opposite. I know I was completely wrong about a few people.
