Two years after Caesar lead his colony of nearly two-hundred to freedom, there still seems to be an ongoing battle between mankind and the apes that feels never-ending. Between cultural development amongst his tribe members and the constant looming threat of their tyrannical Hominidae cousins, Koba bears witness to everything with great disdain and anticipation as one of his right-hand advisers and council members. His king has liberated him from those awful labs, along with many others, and thus he follows him devotedly... but is their bond strong enough to overpower his hatred for man- especially when one is placed right at their front doorstep?
After the thrilling conclusion to The Simian Forest Saga Volume I: Not Like You, we travel back to when it all began- before Slate raised Koba's spear to his brother's neck, before Krissa was thrown into their seemingly peaceful life and well before the triplets were even born. Enjoy the action-packed, chilling tale of Koba's past, recounting his internalized trauma and reliving the events which lead to the scars that litter his body, all whilst trying to adjust to his newly-found life and freedom.

However, a scarred ape named Koba whose hatred for the humans was beyond comparison threatened to destroy the budding peace by destroying every human in the world even if it meant eliminating Kira as well.
