Determined to keep her freedom, she takes the assignment, only to find herself fitting in with the team-and unexpectedly drawn to the quirky yet unhinged Vigilante, Adrian Chase.
 
As sparks fly between them, Rose struggles to balance her growing connection with Adrian, and the ever-present shadow of her father's influence. When her past resurfaces, threatening not only her but the team she's come to care for, Rose must confront the demons she's spent her life running from.
