The year is 384.A.D, and Marcus is 19, from Beneventum, the modern day equivalent being Benevento, in Italia.
A few days ago, he went to Roma.
To get a job.
And now..
He's in the army.
His first task?
To Aegyptus.
To help close down Pagan temples in the Nile.

He himself was Pagan. Roman Pagan.
