Everyone knows the tale of the Dance of Dragons! How everyone including the dragons lost the war! How Alicent lost all of her children and grew insane! How Otto Hightower wanted nothing but power, depending on whom he used for it!
But the gods of course were not pleased with how things have unfolded after the Dragon warfare! What if the Gods gave the Dragon Queen a second chance at life? What if Rhaenyra was brought back to the realm to undo the disastrous consequences that have unfolded? What if Rhaenyra loved and cared for her siblings?
House of the Dragon does not tear down itself! It doesn't divide into two families! But merge as one! Viserys is right about one thing! Dragons will reign for the next 100 years just as they did the last! But it won't be because of him! It will be because of The Realm's Delight! Or as some will title her as The Dragon Queen!
Unexpectedly, some changes have unfolded in Westeros because of Rhaenyra's knowledge and confidence of the throne. Including the gods power to rewind the clock.
Can Rhaenyra save her families legacy? Will her enemies once again get away with it? Or will Rhaenyra and the Dragon Dynasty have to endure the same suffering once again because of selfish ambitions?

Alright, here's the tale. We all know that story about the Dance of the Dragon, and how Aegon and Rhaenyra fought each other to sit on the iron throne. However, in this book, there is another candidate for the Iron Throne. In this story, Daemon and Rhae Royce have a son named Rhaenor. He was different than most people, he was a prodigy at swordsmanship, smart in politics, and well-liked by all. However, despite everything; the relationship with his parents was tense as both Daemon and Rhae would try and mold him into their image. But he refused to follow their way and decided to become his own person. While he did love his parents the relationship he had with them began to strain when he was ten. His mother and the Vale lords tried to betrothed him to Lady Jeyne Arryn, however, Rhaenor refused the betrothed and went with Daemon to the capital. Rhaenor would spend most of his time in King's Landing, where he became friends with his cousin Rhaenyra and her friend Alicent Hightower. During 112AC, King Viserys, who was unable to produce an heir of his own, decided to name his nephew Daemon's son Rhaenor Targaryen as his heir. Something that surprised everyone, including both Daemon and Rhaenyra. When Rhaenor asked Viserys why he was chosen to be heir to the throne, Viserys stated that Rhaenor was the only person in the kingdom he could trust to be honest with him. While he was Daemon's son he knew that he was different from both his parents combined.

Visenya Targaryen grows up away from Westeros but is very aware of her heritage and who she is. When things go badly she and her mother return to Westeros where she meets her uncle Aemond. Like mother, like daughter, but unlike Rhaenyra Visenya has no intention of losing the man she loves or her inheritance. This story will not follow the TV show or the book timeline. This is a love story where the dance of the dragons does not happen. In this story, Alicent married Viserys when Rhaenyra was 6 years old.
