I'm not really sure, I think it has something to do with psychology? Or maybe an advanced form of mathematics, a communication with a higher plane beyond the hereafter. A totally incomprehensible series of words that builds itself to an illogical conclusion. This is not high art or dinner table conversation. Maybe it's poetry, maybe it's song, maybe it's the last thought of a mosquito just before it splatters into your windshield (shit), or the first thought of a child as it exits the womb (tad bright isn't it?). Maybe it's a conversation between a stick figure and the end of the universe. Or perhaps it's none of these things and I've waste planted your time with a description longer than a chapter (I prefer that last option). But no matter what it isn't, what it is is real. Not myself but the words you're reading. Because once they enter your mind they are no longer mine. I no longer exist as a frame of reference. Each sentence, each thought is reconstructed, reanimated, and reborn through your eyes. I'm not here, I'm just another thought that you can choose to hold or discard and by the end of this sentence you won't remember that I casually mentioned where I hid the bodies (it was between 'I' and 'you'). So where do we go from here? You can choose to read the first chapter (I'd really prefer you not and respect my privacy) or you can shove off and read something more respectful of you and your time. I recommend The Mysteries by Bill Watterson, or if you're more of a movie buff then go watch Naked Lunch. If the first chapter gets a thousand views I promise to delete it at some point. Try to keep the view count low so I don't have to worry about an audience watching my every move. This description is designed to throw as many of you off as possible with a massive wall of text. By this point I can say whatever I want and nobody will ever read it. (The water is turning the frogs into monkeys). Oof, reached the word limit, don't tell anyone but I really love to put my
A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers.
*****
It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life.
