A long time ago, the theory of Super Semblances was proposed. It never gained much traction, due to many factors. Ozpin knew the concept of a Super Semblance couldn't be true. A Semblance was just that, an imitation of the magic of yore. Accepting a Super Semblance, was like admitting that the part is greater than the whole. An error of gargantuan proportions.

Remnant is a land full of legends and stories. Some are more popularly known such The Story of the Seasons and the legend of the Silver-Warriors. However, there is one legend that has been long forgotten and buried deep in Remnant's history. This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it? DISCLAIMER: I do not own RWBY or any of the pictures you may see in this book. All of them belong to Rooster Teeth and owners respectively. On Remnant though power, REAL power was once called Magic. The first generation of humankind utilized magic. But due to their hubris and anger, they were erased from the world. Their legacy and history, while hidden, was not erased. But this new generation of humans would never be able to learn the power their ancestors wielded. But what if one among them...just got a little lucky.
