Ever since the last summer Avery spent at her grandmother's house when she was a child, she's been haunted by nightmares that shake her to the very core. Not remembering how or why she's getting these threatening nightmares that look more like memories, she's forced to head back home to the place she fears most for the summer. To make matters worse, her grandmother is now living at her house, and to say that her mother and grandmother don't get along would be a huge understatement—they loathe the other and go to any length to prove it. To find out the truth that goes deeper than just a memory she's long forgotten, Avery will have to come to terms with the real relationship between her family as she finds out just who her grandmother and supposed best friend really are, and the facts about her haunting past the could very well be her end.
