A young teen girl, Taylor Nolan, reported an ambiguous case the winter of 2020. Different objects around the U.S. vanished on the night of February 10th. Ava Ledger, as the lead investigator of the Lucas County Police Department was responsible for taking over this case as a member of the missing persons unit.

The same teen happened to find a new huge lead that can officially close the case for good. Perhaps this new element is somebody Ava has met before in the past.

There came a specific file poking out at her, with the small crack of light from an opened window highlighting it and it's contents. The file had dark ink written on its border, deaths of 2010.

"Marshal..." Ava hoarsely mumbled, and tapped around her body for her memory storage regulator, mainly to access her decade-lost memories from 2010, the year where it all fell apart. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if she ever saw his face again. All she had left was his helpless pieces of glass from the accident, forever preserved in a safe place and his upper portion of the lantern.

"I will not stand for this anymore." Ava declared, keeping a razor-sharp focus on each word, and her professional integrity. "Marshal... you're gone."

"You are dead."
