For more than one year, Kael has been hunting for a bad blood. When he is betrayed by someone in his clan and almost dies in an ambush, he decides to hitchhike. The only ship available for his task is that of Ana Sanchez, a small human female.

A list of 7 known species appeared on the screen, passing through it, her pupils dilated. Even her breath stopped.
Many seconds later, she released her painful breath and asked, "are you a bad blood?"
