Former Fairy Tail guild master Precht, also known as Master Hades of Grimoire Heart, told the gang about the"Magic of One," which is supposedly the root of all types of magic. And then he fricking dies. The one true magic is literally never discussed again.
Not yet, anyway. However, all of the ships have gotten together... and Earthland has been peaceful for way too long. Spicing it up a bit is a big bad group of evil scientists who believe that they have what it takes to figure this "Magic of One" business out.
