Ellie's been in Jackson for five years, and for four of those five years, she's found herself in somewhat of a rivalry with none other than Jesse. Rather it is a sport in town hall, to terminating infected on patrols the two seemed to always race neck and neck. Although the two were each other's competition the two managed to maintain an acquainted friendship seeing how there weren't many kids their age in the town. All that came to a halt when an injured Carmel-skinned woman rode through the gates on Maria's horse. Ellie being stuck in the medical bay was left to take care of the girl. She didn't expect the feelings to take off in her stomach the minute their eyes met. But what caught the Auburn hair woman off guard was when she realized Jesse had feelings too.
