In a quaint medieval village nestled in the valley of two forested mountain ranges lived a girl named Elara. Spending most of her days assisting her mother, the village healer, she lived a peaceful and fulfilling life. But one fateful day a darkness crept out from the Whispering forest and down the mountain. The Fae that reside in there were angry. The village turned to despair as everyone fled from the impending danger. Being forced to leave their home Elara and her mother set foot on a journey to the nearest intact village. Along  the way they meet a boy like no other.  A forbidden romance begins to grow as war breaks out amongst the Fae and the Humans. Elara discovers secrets about her village and herself. Coming to terms with truths untold while fighting to survive may be too much for Elara.
