The Key of Eden, buried deep at the very bottom of the sea, is said to be the key to solving death. With it, unnecessary death and disease could be wiped off the face of the planet. However, it is guarded by an unfathomable beast that cannot be killed by normal means. With the entire world focused on wiping out death, it has essentially become an arms race to not only kill the beast, but to be the first one to do it.

Micah Lynch, a widowed father, is the current leader of a group of terrorists known as "The Dan." Using them, he plans to snatch the Key of Eden himself so that the Long War on the surface can end. Yet, no one believes in him; not even his childhood friend or his daughter. Yet, he might be the only one who can save the world.
