Axel Mars thought about May Leran's chocolate brown eyes that seemed to swallow him up in sincere passion. He was being swallowed by May's eyes ,while he was assaulting head cheerleader, Khloe Markos, in the mouth. Whatever he did his feelings towards May wouldn't budge. His liking for her (he hoped it wasn't love) brought him hope in times of darkness, and halted him when he was going to cut himself and take the antidepressants his mom used. May and Axel were best friends yet they were miles apart, or at least they had been for a year now. After Axel discovered the intensity for the passion that played his heartstrings for May after she had gotten a boyfriend Sean Collins, head jock besides Axel. Can May help Axel realize that she wanted to be more than friends all along or will Axel do something stupid, drowning in his love for May? Will he do something with other girls that he will regret forever .

Except he's come straight out of the movie and is sleeping in her floor. After she calms down they realize that her wish has brought Luke out. Then they realize another obstacle. He's invisible to everyone but her. He begins following her everywhere. Even to school. When they go to school she realizes that another boy can see him. A loner boy named Jason. She recruits Jason to help her and they begin to get close over the course of it. For some reason these two boys cheer her up.
